3/31/2024 0 Comments Cyma pocket watch value![]() ![]() Movements that are marked to be "Adjusted" may have a variety, or combination, of features. This is only a guess, but the style of the case and the marking "Cyma" on the ratchet wheel (the large winding wheel) seem to indicate a later watch, 1920s+. That's why I'd really like to know more about this watch. ![]() Knowing that it probalby went through the last century and is still in really good condition was quite amazing. PS: on a sidenote, it was a real pleasure to go to the safe in the bank (where my father kept the watch) and to discover that object for the first time. Looks like silver, but don't know if it is. One back one front (don't really want to try opening it to find more details). So, if anyone knows the name of the model (if there is one) and things like an approximate date for its commercialisation, I would be really gratefull. I already contacted Cyma, don't know if they'll answer. So, I'd like to know a bit more about the watch. My father thinks it has probably been bought between 19, but it is a wild guess (he knows his relative bought it when he built his house, but doesn't know when it has been done). It used to belong to his grand oncle (don't know if you say that in english. So, I just received a Cyma watch from my father. I thought maybe someone could help me, it seems to be a place with tons of infos if you know where to look. I found this forum by looking for informations about the watch I just received. ![]()
